JAMISON FAMILY REUNION - Sat, July 11, 1998

Reminder: The reunion for our extended Jamison family comes every other year. The next one will be in 1998 on the second Saturday of July -- July 11. The Allsop side of the family will be organizing that day for us. It is a great opportunity for us to know one another person to person.
br> In the meantime, take whatever opportunities you can to have reunions on a smaller scale within your separate sides of the family. We need to resist the many forces that tend to isolate us from one another. DAVIS FAMILY REUNION - Sat, June 28, 1997 - Burke's Garden, VA

Anytime after 10:00 a.m. - Elementary School, Burke's Garden, VA (Tazewell). A brand new outdoor shelter with picnic tables has been reserved. This is an annual event. The good eatin' stuff will be provided. As usual, they'll pass the hat to cover the costs. So throw the young ones and old ones alike in the car and head that way. HIGGINBOTHAM FAMILY REUNION - Sat, July 5, 1997 - Morgan, Texas.

There is to be a Higginbotham family reunion held on July 5, 1997, 3 miles north of Morgan, Texas on the old family farm of William Green Higginbotham. Come on down, bring plenty of food and sun screen. Let me know if coming (very important). all invited. Howard T. Bigham howbig@imagin.net

HOGE & COUSINS FAMILY REUNION - Sun, June 29, 1997 - Cedar Bluff, VA

Starts at 11:30 a.m. at The Old Mill, Cedar Bluff, VA. Located west of Burke's Garden, between Tazewell and Richlands. The food will be ready. Stories will be flying! . . . . The location of the Hoge & Cousins reunion was at the old mill that Thomas J. Higgenbotham owned years ago. The man that owns the place now is almost done with an amazing renovation. It is a very beautiful place, perfect for large groups.

The reunion went well. Burke's Garden was as wonderful as it always is. I sincerely hope that you will be able to visit one day. I would love for you to meet my Uncle Jim Hoge. I'm sure you guys would talk for hours.

STITT FAMILY REUNION - May 24-26, 1997 - Nebraska

Held in McCook, Nebraska during the Memorial Day weekend. Larry Stitt shadgraf@ctaz.com, PCO member, reports they had an exemplary turnout, with over 50 cousins in attendance.
