I was in the original group of about 60 serving in the area when the Duesseldorf mission was re-created from the Frankfurt mission. That was a challenging and wonderful time, under Pres. & Sr. Wolferts. I would love to hear from anyone who served under them.
Currently I am in a phd program in sociology at University of Chicago, after a brief stint at BYU. In about 4 years I should be finished, then it's on to the academic career.
I've only been back once ('94) and that only briefly. Would love to hear from anyone on the state of the wards I served in: Essen, Duisburg, Dortmund Herne and Solingen.
