Assignment #5c (Black and Green Versions)
First Construction (In Wilhelm Scream)
Part 2c:
Editing your section
Edit Through section G ( that's to the
H mark on page 12 of the score) 4:16 seconds of your part of
Cage's
First Construction score .
Make sure you notes (Wilhelms) are on
V2 or higher of the timeline. Leave V1 open.
If you used slugs to fill the
measures with rests delete the slug
(or black).
Make a new slug (or Black) that is 4:16 long
and put it in V1 of the Timeline.
Insert the countdown leader
that is
on the server in my Public
folder. It's called "Wilhelm Countdown Leader." Use all of this
clip, don't edit it. Just insert
the whole clip before your part.
Render and Export your part using the
DV-NTSC codec.
Call it "Your Name"Part "?" (whatever your
part is) .
Remove the
slug from V1 and
replace it with a color matte that is pure Apple Green. In the Colors
window select the "Apple" List and choose the default
Green.
Do Not remove the "Wilhelm Countdown Leader."
Render and Export your part using the DV-NTSC codec
This time call it Your Name"GREEN version"?"" (whatever your part is).
Burn a DVD
±R of your
Parts, Both Black, and Green version on one dvd. You may use
iDVD (on the
computers in the Library) or your own DVD software to make a DVD of
your Part.
Import the
2 verstion of your part as separate movies.
Keep the menu simple. A black background with a
white font title of "Your Name, #5, First Construction in Wilhelm
Scream, Part "?" (your part number). Sp. '06" with a separate
menu button for each version. Regular version, and Green Version
.
Label it clearly with a
cd safe pen with "Your Name,
#5, First Construction in Wilhelm Scream, Part "?" (your part number),
Sp. "06" (do not use a label --write on the DVD±r).
Make sure your DVD
±r plays in the
Macs in the library.
Put your DVD±r
in a Jewel
Box and turn it in. We do need a DVD
±r
this time, not just a disk image.
