Assignment #4 Open Midterm

Limitations: 

1) 4 minutes or less in length.

2) Plan and execute a short video. 

3) Start with 5 seconds of SILENT BLACK with your name superimposed over the last 3 seconds.

4) Title your piece and include a title credit shot somewhere in the piece.

5) Must have audio.

6) Export as a movie you piece including blacks (compressor: DV-NTSC/ size: 720X 480/ etc.).  Call you movie "'Your Name'4midterm.mov".  Keep this movie in your server account on the Artstech server you will need it later in the semester.  Use this file to make your DVD.

8) Burn a DVD±R of your midterm (You may just make a "DVD IMAGE" file with iDVD 6).  Label it clearly with a cd safe pen with "Your Name, #4, Midterm, Sp '07" (do not use a label --write on the dvd±r). You may use iDVD (on the computers in the Library) or your own DVD software to make a DVD of your midterm.  Keep the menu simple.  A black background with a white font title of "Your Name, #4, Midterm, Sp. '07", and "Your Title".  You will turn this in and we will use this dvd in class on the 18th.
