Assignment #4 Open Midterm

Limitations: 

1) 4 minutes or less in length.

2) Plan and execute a short video. 

3) Start with at least 3 seconds of silent BLACK/sync. End with at least 2 seconds of silent BLACK/sync.

4 First shot CREDIT SHOT of your name (may have sound).

5)  Must have audio.

6) Title your piece.  You need to have a title on the DVD, you may use the title in the video or not.

7) Export your finished piece including blacks as a quicktime movie (compressor: DV-NTSC/ size: 720X 480/ etc.).  Call you movie "'Your Name'4midterm.mov".  Keep this movie in your documents folder on the Artstech server.  You will need this file on March 4 in class.  Also use this file to make your DVD image.

8) Make a DVD image of your midterm .  Label your DVD image file: "Your Name, #4, Midterm, Sp. "08".  You may use iDVD (on the computers in the Library) or your own DVD software to make a DVD of your midterm.  Keep the menu simple.  A black background with a white font title of "Your Name, #4, Midterm, Sp. '08", and "Your Title".  Test your DVD image file and then drop it in my drop box.
