3730 Beginning Video

Fausse Solitude by Pierre-Yves Cruaud Make a short video where the movement of the camera is an important element in the piece. Make sure that the type of movement, your control or lack of control of the camera movement adds to the piece. Don't just walk around with the camera. Think of an interesting way in incorporate camera movement into your piece. Push your idea. Limitations:
1) 1 to 3 minutes in length
2) Start with 5 seconds of SILENT BLACK with your name superimposed over the last 3 seconds. 3) Controlled camera movement MUST play a significant role in this video! 4) Must have MIXED audio. 5) End with 3 Seconds of silent BLACK 6) Export your finished piece as a DV-NTSC 720X480 movie with 480kHz, 16bit, stereo audio. 7) Bring your finished and exported movie and a blank DVD-r (8x) to class. In Class We:
1) Burnt a DVD±R of your Mobility. Label it clearly with a
cd safe pen with "Your Name,
#3, Mobility, F. "06" (do not use a label --write on the dvd±r). You may use iDVD
(on the
computers in the Library) or your own DVD software to make a DVD of
your
midterm. Keep the menu simple. A black background with a
white font title of "Your Name, #3, Mobility, F. '06", and "Your
Title". If you were not in class turn in a dvd of your Mobility
to me.
2 ) Made a "DVD IMAGE" of your Mobility DVD file (with iDVD 6) and dropped it my dropbox on the server. If you were not in class you need to do this. |
