EDIT YOUR FOOTAGE Edit the footage you shot 2 weeks ago. Edit it in the computer using Final Cut Pro You may shoot new footage if you wish. Make a piece with: A. All static shots (use a tripod) with a deep depth of field, sharply focused. B. Audio must come from your video footage. C. You may use as many shots as you need and you may repeat shots. D. You may alter the speed of your shots. You may use freeze frames, and reverse motion. E. You may use simple superimpositions (no masking) and simple transitions.
F. Start with 3 seconds of silent black.
G. Must include a title (no untitled pieces) and a credit (your name). H. 1 to 3 minutes in length. I. End with 2 seconds of silent black. J. Export you project as a Quicktime Movie, Use current settings: DV-NTSC 720X480, 48khz, 16bit, stereo file. K. Bring it to class along with a new (unused) dvd-r. L.
