Assignment #1
Photo Strip
 

Go to a K-MART or The Museum of Natural History 9 on campus) and have a black & white photo strip taken of yourself.  These cost about $1.00.  Turn in all 4 shots on an uncut strip. 

Write your name, “Assignment #1” and “Photo Strip” on the back in pencil, not a pen, a pen will bleed through, or smudge and make a mess of other peoples photo strips.In order to write on back of your photo strip you may need to attach a self adhesive label.

Sundance Film Festival

Go to at least two films at the Sundance Film Festival for 2004.  You may go to the screenings in Salt Lake - you do not have to go to Park City. 

One of your two films should be in the Frontier  catagory or a film by Lars Von Treir.

Tarnation
WAR
Frontier Shorts
or
The Five Obstuctions
Dogville

If you can not get to a Frontier  of Von Treir film you may subsittute two (2) films from the Documentary catagory --this means without a Frontier Film you must see three (3) films.

Save your ticket stubs because you will need to turn them in.
