Family

Nate:  Nate has moved around a lot since joining the U.S. Army.  He started life in Ft. Benning.  Then he went to Saudi Arabia (during this time he visited Egypt).  He has recently returned from Haiti and is currently stationed in Kosovo.  His home base is Ft. Bragg.

Adam:  Adam attends Dixie College.  It sounds as if things are going well form him.

Niki:    Niki is in out of High School now and is the sounding board for many, many, many, many corny jokes (he he he).

Gypsy:  Gypsy is our dog (an all black mutt possibly SharPi/Lab mix), she is the successor to Dummy (a.k.a. Goofy, a.k.a. Stinky), who was the successor to Snickerdoodles (a.k.a. Snickers, a boxer who was a swell dog and who also ate my retainer), who was the successor to Bandit, who was the successor to the black puppy, who was the successor of Lady Casco of Hollywood (a.k.a. Cassie, a very naughty basset hound that ran away the day after we bought her), who was the successor to the little-white-dog-that-was-painted-red (don't ask), who was the successor to Shasta, who was the successor of Simi II, who was the successor of Rover (A female dog named Rover?  I guess if it worked the other way for Lassie), who was the successor and devourer of Simi I (who was a pre-beanie baby, bean filled animal).
