For years, the University of Utah was a leading developer of aerodynamics modeling research directed toward computer modeling of wind turbines. The codes developed there are still widely used throughout the industry today. The researchers there have since moved on, some of whom now work as consultants to the industry at Windward Engineering in Utah. Please refer to the links below for more information.
