China. After watching the lunacy of someone crossing the street in a sea of bicycles and cars, the unorderly order of how traffic signals are obeyed, and the chaos at the order counter of McDonald's, I now understand the phrase, "Chinese Fire Drill!"

The turnstile in the Beijing hotel really moved. After about 3 guys went through it would be spinning. We figured someone would get smacked in it. It turned out to be John. He got his bag stuck in the turnstile and it took 3 of the bell men to get him and his bag free.

Dennis Dalling got a haircut in the hotel in Hong Kong. He wouldn't tell even his room mate how much it cost. Finally in the way out of Vietnam he told us. It was $70. He said he expected it to be expensive but not $70. He said he looked over the bill and thought it must have been a mistake. He did say that it was the best haircut, shampoo and scalp massage he had ever had.
