For three years (2001-2004), the Mormon studies brown bag series provided an on-campus forum where students and faculty from a variety of disciplines could discuss topics related to Mormon history, culture, and experience.

The series came to an end after Spring semester 2004, due to the departure of its co-founders and coordinator.

Some final thanks:
Thanksto all who contributed to the series: the presenters, the attendees, and those who publicized the brown bags.
Special thanks for the ardent support of Colleen McDannell, Sterling M. McMurrin Professor of Religious Studies.
Thanks also to the Department of Anthropology and the Office of the Dean of Humanities for their early support of the series, and to then-President Bernie Machen for words of encouragement.
