The year after the series was launched, co-founder David Knowlton accepted a position at Utah Valley State College, where he has developed a course on the anthropology of Mormonism. John-Charles Duffy continued to coordinate the brown bag series until April 2004. In fall 2004, he began working toward a doctoral degree in religious studies at UNC-Chapel Hill.
